Intake Completeness Check
portal-ready packet audit
Ensure every required form, plan, and supporting document in your permit application packet is present and complete. Does not check for precision of calculations and annotations.
Three standalone reports, each a flat rate set automatically by your project's gross square footage. No subscriptions, no bundles — and you only pay after you see your analysis.
estimate your costhow it works
No upfront tier selection and no manual square-footage entry to get wrong. You see your price once we've measured the actual scope of your plans.
Drop in your residential application package (PDFs) and toggle which of the three reports you want. No tier to pick, no payment up front.
The permittable engine run-checks your package against local code and automatically computes your project's exact gross square footage.
We map your detected GSF to the right price tier and show your invoice. Pay to unlock the full report and its 3-run pack.
three standalone reports
Each report can be used as a standalone solution and includes a pack of 3 analysis runs, so you can run, correct, and re-verify without friction at every step of the compliance loop.

deep code-compliance engine
Compare your permit application package to all your jurisdiction's relevant codes. Our AI identifies code violations, inconsistencies, and compliance issues providing instant redlines to ensure your application package meets technical standards the first time.
cost + complexity reduction
Identify redundant, non-required, and risk-inducing details in your permit application package that will slow approval and reduce construction flexibility. Ensures only relevant information reaches reviewers.
Every purchase is a 3-run pack. Need more iterations? Add another 3-run pack on the same report at the same tier rate.
estimate your cost
On a live project we detect this for you. Here, drag to your project's applicable gross square footage — the area of your new build or remodel scope, not the whole building.
Estimates in USD. Each report is billed as a standalone 3-run pack; final billing reflects the actual applicable GSF detected from your plans.

the fine print, in plain terms
A run is one full analysis of a specific plan-set version. Re-uploading a modified set to address violations is a new run. Each pack includes 3; buy another 3-run pack on the same report to keep going.
The flat-rate tiers cover a single primary single-family dwelling. Duplexes, townhomes, or detached ADUs can't share one flat-rate tier — run them as separate projects or use the Multi-Unit / Large Custom GSF rate.
Each package must represent a single, definitive design. Application packages carrying alternative layouts (“Option A” vs “Option B”) may be rejected. Split them into separate submissions for best results.
Runs in a pack stay valid while the footprint and GSF remain within 10% of the first run. A comprehensive redesign, added story, or altered footprint is flagged as new scope and needs a fresh pack at the right tier.

Each report is a flat rate set by your project's gross square footage (GSF), the area of your new build or remodel scope, not the whole building. permittable uses five GSF tiers: Small Remodel (up to 500 sq ft), Standard Residential, Large / Custom, Luxury Estates (up to 8,000 sq ft), and Multi-Unit / Large Custom for anything larger. Every report has a fixed price within each tier, so there is no per-square-foot math to get wrong.
After. You upload your application package and choose which reports you want with no tier to pick and no payment up front. permittable analyzes your plans, automatically detects the exact applicable GSF, and shows your price. You only pay to unlock the full report and its 3-run pack.
Every report is standalone. permittable no longer sells bundles: buy only the Intake Completeness Check, Permit Review Diagnostic, or Permit Optimization Analysis your project needs, each as its own 3-run pack at the same GSF tier rate.

The smallest tier, Small Remodel (up to 500 sq ft), starts at $100 per 3-run pack for the Intake Completeness Check or Permit Optimization Analysis and $200 for the Permit Review Diagnostic. Projects above 8,000 sq ft use the Multi-Unit / Large Custom tier: the Luxury Estates base price plus a per-square-foot rate applied only to the footage above 8,000 sq ft.
